  • Jolene Edwards

    Executive Director

    Years in Trinity County: Since 1986 (officially back since 1990)

    Interest in Early Childhood Education & Child Care: Began her education career in 1997, officially became a teacher in 2000. Taught from TK to Adult Education in public schools. Became Montessori certified in 2015 and taught TK and Kindergarten at a Public Montessori School. Founded Kinder Kids Montessori in 2019 to bring Montessori education to early childhood, later expanding to include Infant and Toddler programs. Passionate about providing quality education for children and families.

    Experience with This Age Group: 6 years teaching TK and Kindergarten in public schools; 6 years as Founder and Executive Director of Kinder Kids Montessori.

    Hobbies & Interests: Enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, backpacking in the Trinity Alps, and relaxing by the Trinity River. Recently picked up knitting and crocheting.

    Assistant Teacher

    Interest in Early Childhood Education & Child Care: Passionate about caring for children and making a difference in their lives

    Experience with This Age Group: 5 years of experience working with children

    Certifications & Training: CPR, First Aid, 28 ECE units, Love and Logic training, numerous ECE conferences and training sessions; currently pursuing Montessori certification

    Hobbies & Interests: Strongly values her Christianity

    Additional Information: Mother of four grown sons and grandmother to three; dedicated to caring for and ensuring the safety of children as if they were her own.

    Aid

    Interest in Early Childhood Education & Child Care: Inspired by having school-age children and previous experience as a nanny.
